Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4 1981) is an American actor. Her roles in films Cowboys & Aliens and The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful and on the TV series Angela's eye Mad Men Hawthorne, and Suits are her best-known works. Her current role is Amantha Holden on her role on the Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actress in both television and films. She rose to fame with her roles in the drama series Rectify. A native of Gulf Breeze Florida she made her acting debut by playing a role in the soap opera All My Children. The soap opera All My Children won her a prize from Soap Opera Digest for the best female newcomer. She mostly played in role as guest actors throughout the span of many years. In the show Hawthorne, she was praised for playing Dr. Erin Jameson. Gradually, with her amazing looks and stunning acting abilities, she was able to build a large audience. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played a part when she was just 20 years old. Her other roles in include Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. In recognition of her performance as a character in Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. Recently, Spencer portrayed Lucy Preston (history professor) in Timeless. It has been well-received by critics and Spencer's role has earned her a nomination to the Teen Choice Award.
